About Our Organization
We, humans, no matter how hard we try, seem to have difficulty interacting with each other even with the best of intentions. Families, organizations, workplaces, and communities describe being caught between the need to connect well and a reality fraught with different perceptions, ideas, and ways of expressing ourselves. Why We Developed DynamicDialogue®Over our years of work with individuals and groups, we learned much about the different challenges that arise in human interactions. We realized that we all would engage each other in a more positive and mutually beneficial manner if we only knew how.One of the biggest impediments is that most of us are looking for the other person to change. It is stunningly clear what "they" are doing that blocks connections. Over and over again we have heard our clients, friends, and family express the need for a framework that would help them learn skills and practices that make it possible to truly engage others and stay engaged - even when things get difficult. So, we developed a framework called DynamicDialogue to offer you focused practice and skills that always include self-awareness.

“How
Dialogue has benefited me? More to the point, how (or where) has it not
benefited me? When someone mentions awareness, I say to myself, yes, I
practice that, too. When someone talks about compassion, I say to myself,
yes, I practice that, too. I practice seeing and experiencing the
inter-connectedness of all. And I practice. It is not a skill or a
competency, although yes, those attributes are a part of this. It is a
practice. I have a cohort, a Community of Practice, which supports me in my
practice. It is the presence of this practice, and my practice of presence,
which benefit me continuously.” - Mary Richardson, DynamicDialogue Facilitator and Mentor |
