Dialogue Facilitators

Jean Holsten, Director of Dialogue Programs and Consultant, Facilitator, and Mentor for DynamicDialogue®

Jean directs the dialogue programs at Bread of Life, a community-benefit educational non-profit. Jean is a licensed attorney with the State Bar of California, currently on inactive status. She works with individuals and groups looking for a more efficient, productive and meaningful way to engage with others in business, government, community and political work. Her environmental and land-use practice centered on working with citizen groups and government officials led her to learn Dialogue skills and practices. She has offered trainings and facilitation services to business leaders, government leaders, faith leaders, youth, social activists and anyone interested in engaging in more meaningful dialogue.
With a group of Dialogue practitioners, Jean created the DynamicDialogue program and is offering this program to organizations and individuals seeking to improve the ways they interact with others to better meet the complex needs of our constantly changing world. Jean has been a trainer and facilitator in the Contemplative Dialogue/Active Engagement/Mindful Leadership work for more than a decade. Jean was part of an international team working with the Government of Albert in Canada from 2008-2015. In 2015 she was part of a team training professional students to work in cross-cultural, multi-discipline projects through the University of California. She spends most of her time in California working with individuals and groups for local, regional and statewide government, non-profit and for-profit businesses and faith based communities.
